Fostering Early Engagement with STEM
Positive early engagement with STEM is vital to recruit students and spark interest in STEM fields, but students from underrepresented groups often lack these opportunities and may begin to disengage from STEM as early as kindergarten. To help combat this barrier to access, we have developed educational activities for K-12 students in both Boston and Saudi Arabia to provide them with opportunities for early engagement with marine science.
